Publish in an Open Access journal
The rapid diffusion of OA has led a large number of publishers to respond to the increasing demand for publications from the scientific community. Unfortunately, not all publishers have proven to be able to guarantee a high quality level, raising criticisms within the academic world. Some publishers defined as "predatory publishers" have adopted a business model charging publication fees to authors without providing the editorial services and rigorous referral process typical of a legitimate scientific publisher.They abused the Open Access publishing model to make money, adopting deceptive and incorrect market and engagement strategies. That’s why it’s important to know the instruments to evaluate the quality of publications.
