EBRARY	This information service groups the e-books in all the fields of science. We have activated the collection “Computers, technology and engineering”, whose licence is unlimited for the whole Politecnico. Reference publishers are the main in the sector; 67% of the collection is represented by works published after 2.000. This service allows users to make full text researches and cross them among differents documents, and makes available tools to point out, to annotate, to recall the consulted text. ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA	Online version of the work, with the full text of more than 118.000 articles, more than 24.000 images and 1.600 geographical interactive maps. The running edition includes also the text of Britannica Student Encyclopaedia, Concise Encyclopaedia, Britannica Internet Guide, with the link to more than 200.000 verified web sites, Britannica Yaerbooks (1994-2002), the whole text of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and of the Rand McNally's New Milleniuum World Atlas. KNOVEL	Knovel is an online information that makes available, through a unique interface, a large collection, that includes the full text of about 700 manuals and databases specialized in science, chemistry and engineering. Reference manuals in the different disciplines are full of conversion tables, calculation papers and other interactive instruments of research and problem's solutions. Thanks to the service functionality it's possible, for instance, to see the molecular structures of every type of chemical compound, or to obtain some graphics in a real time starting from one or more equations. REFEREX Engineering	Referex Engineering makes available the whole text in electronic format for more than 300 titles of Elsevier and the publishers linked with them (Butterworth-Heinemann, Academic press, Newnes) in the different fields of the engineering. The database accumulates three collections of manuals and reference works: Mechanical and Materials (100 titles about); Electronic and Electrical (100 titles about); Chemical, Petrochemical and Processes (100 titles about). Every collection includes: engineering manuals, consultation works, use guides, academic monographs. Referex is available on the site EI Village 2, where we already accede to the databases Compendex and Inspec, that is an important completion.
